Blacknight Solutions Deploys Parallels Automation Software to Power Shared Hosting Offerings

RENTON, Wash., Sept. 16, 2008 ? Parallels today announced that Blacknight
Internet Solutions Ltd., a leading provider of hosted solutions in Ireland is
deploying Parallels Automation to provision its Minimus, Medius and Maximus
shared hosting plans. The technology enables Blacknight to improve its service
delivery and save money by automating repetitive and time-consuming tasks such
as provisioning, billing and customer maintenance.
"In the past, Blacknight offered a range of hosting solutions, but the lack of
uniformity and automation was extremely inefficient," said Michele Neylon, CEO

Blacknight, a Parallels Platinum Partner, launched Parallels Virtual Private
Server (VPS) in May and is building on this with its new hosted offerings, each
of which is designed to provide customers with the tools and disk space that
match their needs. Parallels Automation is able to provide consistency and a
common ground to automate and manage Blacknight?s service delivery, allowing
Blacknight to add new products and services and scale their business. With a
more efficient way to manage their infrastructure, Blacknight?s future plans
include the launch of a dedicated server offering and expansion to scale up to
several million customers.
