DiscountASP.NET Renews Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Status with Quadruple Competencies

January 21, 2009 - DiscountASP.NET, today announced it has successfully
renewed their Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status with four Microsoft
competencies, recognizing DiscountASP.NET’s expertise and impact in the
technology marketplace. As a Gold Certified Partner, DiscountASP.NET has
demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies and proven ability to meet
customers’ needs. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners receive a rich set of
benefits, including access, training and support, giving them a competitive
advantage in the channel.
As one of the requirements for attaining Gold Certified Partner status,
DiscountASP.NET had to declare a Microsoft Competency. Microsoft Competencies
are designed to help differentiate a partner’s capabilities with specific
Microsoft technologies to customers looking for a particular type of solution.
Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to
accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the
technology industry. DiscountASP.NET attained the Advanced Infrastructure
Solutions and Networking Infrastructure competency to qualify for the Microsoft
Gold Certified Partner level in 2006 and the Security Solutions competency in
2008. DiscountASP.NET has now added the new Hosting Solutions Competency as
their fourth competency.

Solutions competency last year and has introduced new exams to qualify for this
competency. The new competency provides hosting partners access to sales,
