Entrust Enables Secure, Authenticated Access to Enterprise Resources for Global Facility Services Group

Agreement with ISS France facilitated by local partner, displaces
competitor's high-priced tokens
DALLAS, Feb. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- As budgets tighten amidst
unpredictable financial times, organizations are learning the benefits of
migrating to affordable, proven authentication methods to help secure enterprise
access and resources. ISS France, a segment of the ISS global facility services
group, understands this advantage and ended their dependence on high-priced
hardware tokens in favor of Entrust, Inc. and the Entrust IdentityGuard
versatile authentication platform for enterprise security.

authenticate users -- employees, suppliers and customers -- with different roles

cards were the simple, cost-effective answer to replace high-priced tokens,

With Entrust IdentityGuard grids authenticating the identities of the
organization's employees, ISS France is able to manage the roles and specific
access of their entire workforce and specific third-party organizations. This
verification is based on inclusion to predefined user groups. Facilitated by
local French partner Digital People, the implementation also enabled ISS France
to simplify an enrollment process that was complex, costly and time-consuming in
the previous environment. Digital People also tailored Entrust IdentityGuard to
help ISS manage employee access according to their roles. This was a key
decision criterion to ISS.

Already deployed by ISS Austria, ISS France was encouraged by the ease of
implementation and affordability of the Entrust IdentityGuard versatile
authentication platform. In addition, ISS France valued the reliability of the
grid cards compared to high-priced hardware tokens that, in their experience,
can be lost or broken.
"Entrust IdentityGuard's ability to grant external contractors time-limited grid
cards provides unique flexibility and allows more frequent maintenance

business as internal resources are less solicited, drastically reducing

Entrust IdentityGuard enables organizations to layer security -- according to
access requirements or the risk of a given transaction -- across diverse users
and applications. The platform's authentication options include username and
password, IP-geolocation, device, questions and answers, out-of-band one-time
passcode (delivered via voice, SMS or e-mail), grid cards and a range of
one-time-passcode tokens. Entrust IdentityGuard also provides multiple methods
of supporting mutual authentication, including picture and caption replay.
