Equinix to Present “Virtual Data Center Tour” at AFCOM’s Data Center World® Spring Conference

FOSTER CITY, CA — March 3, 2009 — Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX), a
provider of global data center services, today announced that it will present a
“virtual tour” of its premium International Business Exchange™ (IBX®) data
centers at Data Center World, the premier educational resource for data center
professionals. Hosted by AFCOM, the conference will be held in Las Vegas, NV,
March 8-12, 2009.
Patrick Leonard, senior manager of strategic initiatives at Equinix, will
present the session titled, “Science Fiction? James Bond Would Be Proud of These
Data Centers,” at the Paris Hotel on Sunday, March 8, 2009, from 4:15 – 5:15
P.M. The presentation will provide a graphically rich view of Equinix’s
industry-leading data centers and a discussion of best practices and the latest
trends in data center design, security, site selection, power and cooling.
Selected from among the most diverse data centers in the world, Data Center
World’s virtual data center tours feature some of the most innovative
initiatives in the industry. There is an additional cost of $150 for conference
attendees to participate in the virtual data center tours, with free admission
offered to the press.
Equinix will also be exhibiting at the conference in the Paris Ballroom, booth
#224.
