ePassport solution up for respected IT security magazine's Innovation Award
DALLAS, March 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Entrust's innovation in public
key infrastructure (PKI) and digital signatures to help secure ePassports have a
profound effect on domestic and international border security. In recognition of
this leadership, SC Magazine UK has named Entrust's ePassport security solution
as a finalist for their "Innovation Award."

be announced at the SC Magazine UK Awards presentation on April 28, 2009, at the
Hurlingham Club, Ranelagh Gardens, in London.

flawlessly in September 2008 at a key interoperability test for
second-generation ePassports in Prague, Czech Republic. Entrust demonstrated a
successful PKI certificate exchange using United Kingdom and Slovenia systems in
a multi-country test environment. Showcasing a "point-and-click" PKI system,
Entrust confirmed that the security infrastructure for second-generation
ePassports, based on Extended Access Control (EAC), is truly ready for global
deployment.
