New York State Department of Labor Renews Application Management Contract for AOSOS

ANDOVER, Mass., January 8, 2008 — NaviSite, Inc. (NASDAQ: NAVI), a

announced that the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) has renewed its
contract with NaviSite to provide application management services for America’s
One-Stop Operating System (AOSOS).
AOSOS is a unique, web-based job matching, case management and reporting system
designed to help states and Workforce Investment Boards manage their One-Stop
Career Centers established through the Workforce Investment Act. After
partnering with NaviSite in 1998 to develop AOSOS under a grant from the U.S.
Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, the NYSDOL chose to
extend its commitment based on NaviSite’s expertise in application management
along with case management, web-based development and hosting, and ability to
quickly adapt the AOSOS system to evolving compliance and reporting needs.
